Krafty Krismas

Good afternoon dear friends and fellow bloggers. I haven't done very well with my crafting so far this year so I do hope things pick up soon.   I don't think I'm alone because as I have been wandering around blog land from what I read I think a number of people are not quite up and at it with their usual vim and vigour.

I got so behind with my Christmas cards last year that I decided this year that would definitely not happen again.  I resolved that I would make at least one card every week - more if possible - and I have made a start.  Now I must just keep the momentum going!

My Cards

Click on image to enlarge picture.

My cards are 7" x 5" kraft cards which I bought from Hobbycraft.  The papers are "Handmade Holidays" from   Simple Stories.  This is my go-to pad when I am using kraft card.  I just love it.  They are very simple and flat making them cheap to post, yippee! The poinsettias are WOC and the little star gems are from my stash and have been there forever I think.

Hope this finds everybody well.  A little warmer here today thank goodness but miserable and drizzly.

Hi Christine,
That's what I call early, I have put all of the Christmas crafting away and it won't come out until September. Love your cards.

Hi Christine,

These are gorgeous and I am so glad someone is on the same wave length as me with their Christmas cards, I too plan to do some all year round this year, far too many to leave till the last minute and I had people asking me if I could do some for them but sadly couldn't, so hopefully if anyone asks this year I shall have some at the ready lol!

Love & Hugs

Love your Christmas cards Christine..I'm the same, I was so behind I actually got stressed about it, so I have a box and am trying to make them regularly - I've made a few, just have to keep it up! I've been taking ages for my mojo to really start working - I think it was I was really 'crafted out' before Christmas and then had too long a break! Hugs Carole Z X

Hi Christine
My, you are organised! I ought to be sensible and do the same. I'm not usually a fan of kraft card but these I really like. Love the first one in particular.
Best wishes.

Fabulous cards Christine. I feel your pain about not being able to get back into the crafting groove. I'm sure it will soon come back. I'm determined to hunt mine down and bring it back. Happy crafting!

Fabulous cards Christine, and no you are not the only one. I am struggling to get going with my crafting right now. I don't often lose my stamping mo-jo, if anything it is the opposite for me - trying to do too much stamping and creating lol! Am hoping as it gets lighter and brighter that I will get into it again lol! xx
